System Notes
There is no council-enforced sound limiter – the system uses intelligent internal protection: Sound is focused on the dancefloor, minimising outdoor noise. A dynamic EQ automatically reduces low frequencies when the system is pushed beyond the safe (green) level. A sound monitor is discreetly located on the venue wall, clearly visible to both bands and DJs. When the display reaches orange, bar staff are automatically alerted via a flashing beacon behind the bar.
THE SETUP & SAFETY
As you approach the wedding venue follow the driveway towards the Coach House archway just before the coach house courtyard. You’ll be able to unload your gear straight onto the dancefloor in the Coach House.
We have our own lighting system smoke machine
Please ensure that Drum Kits are sat on a protective mat to prevent damage to our floors.
It is not possible to leave any equipment overnight with us.
Please help us to provide the perfect evening, if you spot spillages on the dance floor please alert a member of staff.
Any food and drink requested for the evening must be pre-arranged through the happy couple.
SOUND CHECKING
One of our Event Managers will be onsite to greet you when you arrive at The Barns at Delbury Hall.
If we’ve not had the opportunity to discuss timings with you before the couple’s big day we’ll let you know when the best time for the sound check will be, when you arrive.
It’s ideal if you’ve completed the sound check before the wedding guests are seated for the wedding breakfast or after the speeches to minimise disruption.
Music Stops at Midnight
In accordance with our license please ensure all music stops at 12am (Midnight).
We suggest you wind things down slightly earlier to enable you to play the ‘one more’ which is often requested when you have a full dance floor!!
We ask all our Bands, DJs and entertainers to have packed up by 00:30 at the latest. That's 30 minutes after the music stops to pack up your equipment.
Please contact us in advance of accepting a booking to perform at our wedding venue, should you have any concerns about this.
