What happens at the first viewing?
At the first viewing you will be given a tour of the Coach House Barn, Stables accommodation, the Courtyard and St Peters Church (if you are thinking of having a church ceremony) to give you a feel for this unique, family run wedding venue. We think you’ll fall in love with the venue but there’s no obligation at all at this point, it is simply an opportunity for you to explore and ask any questions you might have.
Once you’ve decided to go ahead we can discuss availability and we will then take a deposit to secure your chosen date in the diary.
What are the payment terms and what is the deposit amount?

Typically, the Delbury Hall Bar opens at the start of the reception drinks and closes at 11.45pm.

In the Stables accommodation, there is a family room (Room 8) which has a double bed, two bunk beds, fridge and kettle, ideal for families to stay in. There is also an extra Z bed in room 9 and a small kitchen adjoining that room, making it suitable for families. Most of the bedrooms have plenty of space for a travel cot or a Z bed if needed. We can provide Z beds, cots and high chairs.
Can we stay in the wedding accommodation the night before?
From Monday - Friday we offer a 50% venue hire price for those people wanting to host a two day wedding at the Barns at Delbury Hall. Alternatively, we will get in touch roughly 4 months prior to your wedding day to let you know if there is availability for you to set up the venue and stay in the wedding accommodation the night before your wedding.
When do we have to pay for the accommodation?
We request that the accommodation is paid in full four weeks before the date of the wedding. We will send out an accommodation form for you to fill out roughly four months prior to your wedding. We are happy for you to take as many or as few of the bedrooms as you would like on the night of your wedding (and the day before if you are opting for a two-day wedding).

Does the Barns at Delbury Hall have a sound system installed?
The main PA system at Delbury Hall is a high-quality audio setup designed to provide clear, balanced sound throughout the entire venue. Whether it's background music or live speeches, the system ensures excellent audio coverage in all key areas: The Coach House Barn, The Orangery, The Courtyard, and The Foxglove Garden. There are no audio facilities on the Delbury Hall front lawn.
The system is designed to deliver background music at a comfortable volume, while also supporting crisp, intelligible vocals during speeches or ceremonies. The PA system at Delbury Hall helps create the perfect atmosphere with professional-grade audio throughout the venue.
The Delbury Hall PA system is not suitable or loud enough for the evening music. We require the DJ or Band playing to provide their own music system for the evening party.
When do we need to pack up by?
The caterers and bar staff will do their own clearing up. Your items left over from the wedding will be stored away ready for you to collect the morning after your wedding. We ask that you collect all of these items before 10am.
What types of confetti can we use?
Everybody loves a bit of confetti; no wedding would be complete without it! But, we ask that you use it only outside and stick with real petals.
How does it work if we bring our own drinks?
We do allow you to bring your own champagne or prosecco, wine and any other drinks for the post ceremony Reception and for the Wedding Breakfast. We do charge a ‘service charge’ of £10 including VAT per adult guest attending the Wedding Breakfast to serve your drinks. This cost covers our team serving the Reception and Wedding Breakfast drinks, cooling the drinks during the day and providing all of the glassware for the Wedding Reception drinks.
Likewise, we also allow you to bring your own drinks for the evening party, which starts as the Wedding Breakfast ends or at 7pm, whichever starts sooner. Please note, we charge a separate ‘service charge’ of £10 including VAT per adult guest attending the evening party to serve your drinks. This cost covers our team stocking the bar with your drinks, cooling the drinks, providing all of the ice and glassware required and serving your drinks for the duration of the evening party.
If you do decide to bring your own drinks, our brilliant bar team will be on hand to ensure that your guests’ drinks are full. We do not, however, allow stockpiling of drinks on the wedding breakfast tables. It looks unattractive, leads to wastage and also can lead to excessive drinking.

Some of our caterers have their own crockery, cutlery, glassware and linen, whilst others hire in from Tipples or other local suppliers. We would recommend exploring the terms offered by each of our caterers in turn to decide which is the best option for you and our team will be on hand to support you in this decision making process.

On the day of the wedding will the Events Manager set up the table decorations and the ceremony decorations?
Generally, the catering team will set up the tables and lay up for you. Our events manager will help suppliers and assist with the set up i.e putting name tags out and candles, but sadly can't accommodate doing all of the decorations as they are there to help the caterers with chairs, setting the bar up for the day, organising the ceremony area and a few other bits to ensure the day runs smoothly. We always recommend a family member and/or florist or stylist to oversee the decorations and finishing touches to the tables.
Can we use our own external caterers?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate this but we work with a fantastic group of trusted catering companies.
Please see below the list of the caterers we work with:
We also partner with two brilliant Asian Catering companies:

Can we provide the music?
Absolutely! We know how important the music is on your special day. You’re welcome to hire in a band or DJ for your party. If you need some inspiration we can advise on the best local suppliers. Our only request is that the DJ or band stop the music at 12:00am.
