Inky and Jacob’s Spring Barn Wedding in Shropshire
The sun shone for Inky and Jacob’s beautiful May wedding at The Barns at Delbury Hall. We love the ‘timeless romance’ vibe of the day, from the dreamy outdoor ceremony in our Foxglove Garden to the gorgeous pink and green reception styling.

The Outdoor Ceremony at The Barns at Delbury Hall
Inky and Jacob loved the idea of a romantic, alfresco wedding ceremony – and our Pergola, tucked away in the corner of our idyllic Foxglove Garden, was the perfect spot for their May ‘I do’s. It’s a gorgeous setting, whatever time of year, and delivered the perfect English Country Garden backdrop with the spring flowers out in bloom. With just the sound of the trickling fountain and gentle birdsong in the air, our bride and groom exchanged their vows in front of family and friends. Thankfully, the Shropshire weather was on our side and our couple were treated to glorious sunshine and bright blue skies for their outdoor ceremony.
The Orangery Wedding Reception
As Inky and Jacob explored the grounds with their photographer to capture some gorgeous couple shots, their guests were treated to a relaxed drinks reception in our Delbury Hall courtyard.
After champagne and canapés, the party moved on to our newly opened Orangery for the wedding breakfast. Opened in March 2025, the Orangery is a welcoming, light-filled space which Inky and Jacob brought to life with the coolest pink and green styling.
We love the modern take on a classic ‘pretty pink’ colour scheme, with the addition of sage green fabric table runners and candles adding a cool touch. Hand-painted watercolour table numbers and place settings brought the ‘English Country Garden but make it contemporary’ vibe together perfectly. We’re obsessed!
Inky’s Whimsical Bridal Style
We adore Inky’s relaxed, bohemian-chic wedding day style. Her off-the-shoulder, tulle appliqué wedding dress feels beautifully whimsical and perfectly at home against the picture-perfect countryside setting of The Barns at Delbury Hall. Wearing her hair in a loose, half-up style, paired with a tulle veil and a cool, oversized bridal bouquet, the overall look nailed that modern romance style.
Party in The Coach House
The evening reception called for an outfit change for our bride, who swapped her floaty princess gown for a slinky, silk cowl-neck dress, with draped shoulder straps. So cool.
Inky and Jacob held their evening party inside our Coach House Barn. They kicked off the night in style with the cutting of their three-tier cake, before taking to the dancefloor for their first dance as Mr and Mrs. The barn was lit up with our very own giant mirror ball and our professional lighting system, as our bride and groom and all their guests danced the night away.
