2025 has been a big year for The Barns at Delbury Hall. Our Shropshire wedding venue now has a brand-new wedding breakfast space, available for 2025 weddings and beyond. Introducing The Orangery, a contemporary, light-filled space that really makes the most of our idyllic countryside setting. Channelling a relaxed ‘bringing the outdoors in’ vibe, it’s a beautiful new addition to our barn wedding venue, and we can’t wait for you to see it. Here’s everything you need to know.

How it started

The idea for expanding The Barns at Delbury Hall came in autumn 2024. The vision was to create a bright and modern space for wedding day dining, to add to our existing barn reception space, The Coach House. Plans were drawn up and building work started very quickly, with construction finished in April 2025. We’re so excited that The Orangery is now available to all our couples for their bookings.

Why you’ll love The Orangery at The Barns at Delbury Hall

One thing that makes The Barns at Delbury Hall so special is our stunning rural setting. Set within a grand country estate, we’re surrounded by acres of glorious Shropshire countryside, with gardens and fields as far as the eye can see. We wanted to create a wedding breakfast space that allows our couples and their guests to enjoy these magical views, whatever the weather – and The Orangery does just that.

Tucked away in a secluded spot on our estate, The Orangery has knockout views of the lake, Dovecote and Foxglove Garden. With floor-to-ceiling bifold doors, the glass structure is designed to let natural light pour in, making you and your guests feel like you’re dining in the middle of the most tranquil of country gardens.

When the sun shines, we can throw open the bifold doors, and when it rains, The Orangery transforms into an intimate and cosy space for your wedding breakfast and speeches. Cheers to that!

How many guests can The Orangery cater for?

The Orangery at The Barns at Delbury Hall can seat up to 180 people for your wedding breakfast. Get in touch with our wedding team, who can talk you through the seating layout options as well as our delicious menu choices.

Your wedding ceremony at The Barns at Delbury Hall

At The Barns at Delbury Hall, we’ve got you covered with a fabulous choice of ceremony spaces, all with their own unique charm and character.

If you have your heart set on a religious service, we have the picturesque St Peter’s Church tucked away at the end of the Delbury Hall garden. It’s a picture-perfect church with an amazing history – it’s been holding ceremonies for over a thousand years, so you’ll be in good company if you choose to exchange your vows here!

The Coach House Barn is the ultimate rustic-chic ceremony space, with a dramatic vaulted ceiling and exposed brickwork providing a spectacular backdrop to your wedding photos.

We also have a blissful outdoor ceremony space if you love the idea of an alfresco wedding. Say your vows under our wooden Pergola, nestled among our blooming Foxglove Garden. With the sound of birdsong, and overflowing flowerbeds bursting with colour and heady scents, it doesn’t get any more romantic than this.

Your evening wedding party at The Barns at Delbury Hall

After you’ve finished off the speeches and toasts in The Orangery, you and your guests can move into our Coach House Barn to party the night away. Our beautiful barn has space for up to 250 evening guests, as well as a live band or DJ – whatever you fancy to get the party started! To truly transform our fabulous barn into the coolest party space, we’re installing a giant 1m silver mirror ball. Watch this space for some serious wedding sparkle…
