Lauren and Ellie’s April Wedding at The Barns at Delbury Hall
It was a joy to welcome Lauren, Ellie and all their family and friends to The Barns at Delbury Hall for their gorgeous April wedding. From the romantic Coach House Barn wedding ceremony to the sweetest of first dances, it was a truly special day, and we feel lucky to have been a part of it.

Lauren and Ellie’s Romantic Bridal Style
We love everything about Lauren and Ellie’s dreamy bridal style. Both of our awesome brides chose stylish off-the-shoulder wedding dresses with tulle princess-style skirts. Featuring 3D floral appliqué and embroidery across the bodices and skirts, these dresses worked perfectly with The Barns at Delbury Hall’s relaxed, ‘elevated rustic’ vibe. Lauren and Ellie finished their big day looks with traditional veils and loose waves and curls. How beautiful is this ‘first look’ photo, when they finally saw each other in their wedding dresses for the first time?
The brides let their bridesmaids’ individual styles shine in mismatched floor-length dresses in soft pink. The bridesmaids each held a simple white bouquet.
The Coach House Barn Wedding Ceremony
When it comes to romantic wedding ceremony venues, you really can’t beat a beautiful barn setting. The Coach House Barn is an atmospheric space, with a high vaulted ceiling, exposed brickwork, a hanging chandelier and antique tapestry. It provided the most spectacular backdrop for Ellie and Lauren to exchange their vows in front of their guests.
The beauty of our Coach House Barn is that the grand surroundings speak for themself. Our brides kept décor to a minimum, with a greenery arch framing the top of the aisle, and twinkling candles inside hurricane vases adding an intimate touch.
A Stylish Wedding Breakfast
Guests were treated to canapés and drinks in the courtyard while Lauren and Ellie snuck away for some ‘just married’ couple shots around the idyllic setting of Delbury Hall and our countryside grounds.
Lauren and Ellie were one of the first couples to host their wedding breakfast in our brand-new Orangery – the coolest of wedding reception dining spaces. With wraparound floor-to-ceiling windows, the Orangery gives a real sense of bringing the outdoors in. Our couple echoed this feel with rustic table settings, with mini log slices as place name holders, and larger slices topped with candles. Each table featured a central floral display in a painted milk churn, tied up with a hessian bow.
Dancing The Night Away
Once the speeches were finished, Lauren, Ellie and their guests made the most of our outdoor space – and those gorgeous Shropshire countryside views – enjoying drinks and a catch-up in the courtyard. As the sun started to set, their evening guests were treated to wood-fired pizza straight from the pizza truck (guaranteed crowd-pleaser!) before the brides’ first dance as Mrs and Mrs.
